In fact, as of this week (at least according to the plan) I should be able to get back to working on painting and sculpting things. As you see (and some already know) I've decided to step down from my higher position in work. It had me working between 10 and 15 hour shifts with very little time to do anything in between, with starting work at 4am. But soon no longer, they can all, as my friend says Get te F**k. This is the main reason I've not done much in the past oh... 6-7... wait MONTHS! Holy crap, thats a long time. But I am working on things, which I will post about shortly. Hopefully later today. 

What I've started work on. Well, I've got a imp statue with a built in lamp and letter opener that I've got the skin done on. Just need to do the armour and the base to work on. This is what I'm 90% sure I'll be working on over the next few days, but I'll post a few WiP pics later today.

The second thing I've been painting is the Skeleton biker statue I'm about half way done on, some pics are already up for this one so I won't post anything else till I get more done on it.

For my sculpture to get me back into things is a armoured sparrow, very much fitting into worlds like Mouse Guard and Redwall. Currently just got the body done but I'm hoping to get the armour started over the weekend.

Other than that I've got a load of other things to paint that I've not started on yet.

But other than that, soon I shall be posting things... Now I know I've said that before but I totally mean it this time you guys.

Oh, also got a Con next weekend, totally looking forward to it. If you're going to Em-Con in Nottingham, let me know!

I guess I owe you all this, I posted a short while ago that I would be back to posting my sculptures and re-paints here on DA. 

But I never did and for that I must say that I am sorry, I had hoped that work would let up and give me time to work. And it kinda did, I had a whole week off work with nothing in mind but to finish the little bit I had to do on my cosplay and get back to sculpting. But I came down with a nasty cold and didn't have the energy to get anything done never mind plan my next sculpture.

But now that my cold is gone I'm back to work tomorrow and the hours will probably only get more extreme as we go into X-mas. But I do now want to get back into sculpting after seeing the end of Season 5, just so much inspiration of things I wanna do and I still have thing I wanna get done from months ago.

So this is me saying I'm sorry for not posting anything and that I will do my best, even if it's only a hour of work a day, I will get more work on the table.

Good morning/afternoon/evening guys n gals! I hope I find you all well.

Thought it would be time to post a small update on whats been going on.

Well, as for the training for my new role I'm about to start my 3rd week on general training and I feel it's going well. I've had a small taste of what I'll be doing on a daily basis and I hope to get more soon. Then on to full training after that. Well I hope anyway XD

I've managed to get a little bit of painting done since my last post but not much. I need to get out and buy some new paint brushes, which I'll be doing today. So I hope to get a lot more done soon, but with a busy week away training and then I'm away at my sisters. We're going to a place called Wollaton Hall for a food and drink festival. It's actually the place they filmed Wayne Manor for The Dark Knight Rises, which is kinda cool. 

So, all in all. Training not so bad, getting ideas of the new role, hoping to be painting soon and off to try to become Batman.
